More than one million Australians suffer from the medical skin condition, rosacea. It is often mistaken for other skin conditions, such as acne. Without a correct diagnosis, rosacea sufferers may miss out on effective treatments that can be provided by their doctor.
Rosacea sufferers often feel embarrassed about their skin and cover up their condition with make-up, unaware that they have a medical condition that can be treated by their doctor.
We created an awareness campaign centered around an “End the cover up” website. Through targeted online and print ads, rosacea sufferers were directed to visit the site for information about their condition and encouragement to visit a doctor for treatment options. The campaign was picked up by Daily Mail, UK.
