Challenge: People living with the skin condition rosacea have given up on finding help. They believe that the only option is to cover up their condition with make-up. Our challenge was to help them overcome their embarrassment and seek advice from their doctor.
Solution: Rosacea is a medical condition, not simply a cosmetic one. So we created an online film that shows how make-up only masks the problem. It encouraged sufferers to end the cover up and talk to their GP. It was supported by a website and targeted online and print ads.
Reaction: The campaign was widely viewed, generating significant website traffic and coverage in The Daily Mail, reaching over 1.7 million people in Australia alone.
